Finalizing an on-screen pair is really a tough task. There are many actors in town who just don’t get a perfect pairing on-screen and Prateik Babbar is also one of them.
It is said that he finds it very hard to get a heroine who can match his boyish looks and unusual personality. So far he has had some weird experiences with many of the actresses in town. He tried testing his screen presence with several beauties but none could match his persona and those projects got wiped out.
Recently, actress Chitrangda Singh also made her way in that list. Director Aditya Dhar was making a film based on gangsters. For the male lead he thought of roping Prateik as he felt that the young actor has the spark required for the role.
However, when the two were brought before the camera, they seemed more like siblings rather than lovers. Eye witnesses say that Chitrangda’s dusky and cerebral looks make her look similar to Prateik’s mom Smita Patil and that’s the reason the couple failed to create any charm.
Finally Aditya had to call off the project as he wasn’t finding the two compatible to each other. Well, we think Aditya should have taken a chance. In the past people had similar views about Hrithik and Ash but post “Dhoom 2” they have turned the most happening couple of all.
